There was new Covid-19 cases in New Zealand that caused a level 4 Lockdown, there has been worked sent to the students from their school's to work on their device they got at home. Sorry for not posting in a long time, but I hope everyone is doing well through lockdown. Since it was lockdown we were given work online. One of the task was a KWL chart about acient Egypt. I have watched a video on youtube about Acient Egypt. If you would like to learn some facts about Acient Egypt press here ! What was challenging about this task was that I didn't really know that much things about egypt so it was hard trying to fill in the first box (What I KNOW). Today we are going to talk about what happened on the day we went to the Museum for a Trip. During in the museum, we were mostly looking around the areas based on our topic we were learning about in the classroom which is WW1. When we were following our instructer "Aron" we came across didnt types of flags of the countries that signed a treaty after 1918 from all around the world that were hanging on the top of our heads. The second place was a demonstration of the trench life where we could walk in. In the museum there are a lot of places full of WW1 and WW2 so there would be old backround music and gunshots to demonstate how life was like in war. Then there was a final task that we did before we went of to explore , which was looking at the soilders belonging back then and discovering the meanings for each object!

Today I will be going to tell you what I have been learning this week for Reading. For reading we had to read an artical about many ways soilders were recruited into the army. For The first day of taking Art class we had to be creative and create a poster with all the rules that we had to follow during Drawing or in the Art Room! What was challenging was trying to look for a very creative backround and adding details. Have you ever made a art work that your impressed with? If yes what type of art work was it. Sorry I havent been posting for a while, but today I am going to tell/explain what I did for Cyber smart. Our class has been working on something called "24 hour Footprint". We had learned that we leave a digital Footprint on everything we click on our chromebooks and on other devices .It is also very good to learn about this because our digital footprint could be Searched,Shared,Copied and permanent .
